Bondster surpasses 15,000 investors

Investment platform Bondster has surpassed the milestone of 15 thousand investors. The number of investors has grown more than 30 percent last year. Together they have invested over 109 million euros through the website.

Bondster is a Czech online broker where users can invest in business loans or individual loans. These can be secured via real estate, property or a buyback guarantee, for example. As of last year, investors on Bondster can also secure loans via Bitcoin.

Number of investors increased over 30%

Bondster has now surpassed the 15 thousand user mark. Back in 2020, the website still had around 9 thousand users, investing a little over 44 million euros. Last year, the number of investors increased more than 30 percent.

Most of the platform’s users are from its home country Czech Republic. In addition, a third of users now come from 125 countries across the world.

Over 109 million euros invested

The large number of users have now invested more than 109 million euros via Bondster. This has earned users over 4 million euros in interest, the company writes.

According to the platform, investors fund 4 million euros per month on average. But past January and February, investments peaked at over 5 million euros.

‘Number of investors will continue to grow’

CEO of Bondster Pavel Klema comments: “I firmly believe that the number of our investors will continue to grow this year as well reflecting that more conservative investment products can no longer beat inflation. As a result, investors are looking for investments that can beat inflation and offer acceptable risk at the same time. I am convinced they will be able to find both on Bondster.”
