ESNA and BAE announce partnership
The Europe Startup Nations Alliance (ESNA) has announced a strategic partnership with Business Angels Europe (BAE). Together, they are forming the European Confederation of Angel Investing, based in Brussels. They want to strengthen the European startup ecosystem.
BAE is a European organization that connects angel investors with startups all over Europe. And ESNA is an organization dedicated to propelling Europe to the forefront of the global startup ecosystem. It is a platform that was created by the European Commission. For the partnership, both organizations will connect their representatives and members in targeted panels and events.
Joint research to drive engagement and policy making
Both organizations want to strengthen the startup ecosystem in Europe, by supporting the creation of a policy framework. ESNA will provide access to its data platform and relevant research, which supports BAE’s data collection. At the same time, both organizations will collaborate in publications and research, driving engagement in the early-stage startup ecosystem.
‘We aim to empower startups, investors and ecosystem players’
“This partnership with Business Angels Europe marks a significant step towards a more connected and thriving European startup ecosystem. By combining ESNA’s knowledge, data capabilities and stakeholders network with BAE’s expertise in early-stage investment and policy, we will generate deeper insights and support evidence-based policy. Together, we aim to empower startups, investors and ecosystem players across Europe, fostering innovation, growth and competitiveness”, said Arthur Jordão, ESNA’s executive director.
‘This partnership aligns perfectly with our commitment to create a connected ecosystem for startups and scale ups’
Reginald Vossen, president of BAE, added: “We are excited to collaborate with ESNA to strengthen Europe’s investment ecosystem. By combining our network of investors with ESNA’s expertise this partnership aligns perfectly with our commitment to create a more connected and supportive environment for startups and scale ups.”
