Estateguru reaches milestone of 815 million euros

Estonian real estate investment platform Estateguru has financed a total of 815 million euros worth of loans. Last year, it invested 99 million euros in loans. The platform says that it will reach profitability by the end of this year.

Estateguru is a real estate crowdfunding platform from Estonia. It was founded in 2014 and has facilitated 815 million euros in investments since. According to the platform, 550 million euros have already been repaid. Investors have received over 80 million euros in returns.

€40.4 million in H1

The platform recently shared its mid-year update in a blog post. So far, it has funded 40.04 million euros in new loans this year. Additionally, investors received a 10.88 percent average return. And 5,350 new investors joined the platform.

In 2023, the company announced that it had a total of 450 outstanding defaulted loans. The total of these loans came to 125 million euros. Historically, the platform had already recovered more than 40 million euros from defaulted loans. Last year, it recovered 14.6 million euros and in the first half of this year, another 5 million euros was recovered.

95% of loans in 2023 positive results

According to the latest results, 95 percent of all new loans in 2023 had positive results. The total funded amount came to 99 million euros that year. Around 43.5 million euros have already been repaid. And 50 million euros are being serviced on time. Another 5.5 million euros are behind schedule.

‘Estateguru laid off a fifth of its employees in June’

The platform has also announced future plans. In the upcoming months, it will launch a new investment portal and new investment products. In June, the company laid off a fifth of its employees. It also made cuts to operating expenses. These changes will help the company to become profitable by the end of the year.
