SeedBlink launches secondary market

European crowdfunding platform SeedBlink has launched its own secondary market today. Users can buy and sell startup investments there. The launch thus provides early-stage liquidity.

Five months ago, the Romanian equity crowdfunding platform received the ECSPR-license. It wants to offer its investing services all across the European continent. Now, SeedBlink platform has launched a secondary market.

‘We want to connect investors and tech startups efficiently on a single platform.’

“The development of the secondary market on SeedBlink aligns with our goal of efficiently connecting investors and tech startups on a single European platform. Thus, we are building a financial ecosystem that will support the development of a European tech hub,” said Ionut Patrahau, co-founder of SeedBlink.

‘Liquidity was most sought-after feature’

“Liquidity was the most sought-after feature for individual investors to further diversify their portfolios with startups.” Investors can now indicate at any moment an interest in buying or selling on the secondary market. Prices are negotiated between buyers and sellers through offers and counteroffers. The platform will carry out a secure ownership transfer every 3 months.

‘Our offer consists mainly of deals backed by venture capitalists.’

SeedBlink is not the first platform with a secondary market. “The platform’s European exclusive tech focus and direct negotiation capabilities set it apart from other secondary markets. Our investment offering consists mainly of deals backed by venture capitalists”, explained Carmen Sebe, CEO.

Removal of investment ticket size

“The current investment threshold is a minimum €2,500, but the introduction of a secondary market will remove the investment ticket size, enabling more people to create wealth by investing a fractional amount in equity projects with unprecedented access to curated European early-stage tech companies alongside institutional investors.”
