EstateGuru hits €500 million-mark

Estonian real estate investment platform EstateGuru has funded 500 million euros in loans in total. The company founded its first loan in 2014 and has grown quickly since then, with loans financed in 2021 in the amount of 200 million euros.

The announcement comes a week after Estateguru’s launch of a new feature called Investment Strategies, which gives investors the option to choose an investment strategy to automate their investments. This update had been frequently requested by investors, and the company wanted to deliver on their requests.

69% increase in 2021

EstateGuru thanks its success to its investors. In 2019, the company hit the 100 million euros mark, five years after it was founded. In 2021 it financed loans in the amount of 203 million euros. According to the platform, this is an 69 percent increase when compared to 2020 (120 million euros). At the end of 2021, the company’s assets under management were 220.3 million euros.

Company growth

Not only the loan volumes have increased during the past year. According to Pärtel, there were 50 people working for EstateGuru in eight different countries in January 2021. Now, the company employs 110 people from 17 different nationalities.

EstateGuru’s investor communities per country

In an email to its shareholders, EstateGuru says that a total of 75.1 million euros in loans were funded in Germany over the course of 2021. With a market portfolio of 65.6 million euros, Germany represents EstateGuru’s largest investor community. According to the company, it has 25.024 investors from Germany.

However, the Spanish investor community is currently growing the fastest. In Q4, a total of 2617 new investors from Spain joined, which was the biggest growth of new investors from one country for the third month in a row.

Expansion in 2 more countries
