Estateguru to launch Auction feature

Real estate platform Estateguru has announced that it will launch a new Auction Page. It will offer users a curated selection of properties and claims linked to loans in default. According to the platform, this will give users more unique opportunities to invest in.

Estateguru is a real estate crowdfunding platform from Estonia. It was founded in 2014, and ten years later it surpassed 860 million euros in total funding volume (by the end of 2024). It also reached profitability last year.

On the platform, users can invest in real estate loans with first mortgage security. Loans can be selected manually or automatically through an Auto-Invest feature. Recently, it also launched its own fund: with EG Grow users can expect to earn a fixed 7 percent yearly return, paid monthly. The fund is aimed at investors that are looking for an easy way to step in. With the Auction, the platform expands its offering for more professional investors.

‘Buy assets below market value’

While many users might prefer the predictability, and let Estateguru cover the risks for interest payments, the new Auction offers a way to buy assets that were already on the platform. It is similar to the secondary market, where investors can resell their investment, but in the auction they might be able to buy below market value.

According to Estateguru, it will feature a curated selection of properties and claims linked to loans in default. The listings will include land plots, apartments, commercial properties or larger development projects. Transactions will take place through official national auction portals. In some cases, Estaguru will handle the transactions directly.
