Online trading platform Trade Republic has reached a new milestone. It started offering interest on cash balances in January 2023 and since then, more than 1 billion euros has been paid out in interest to customers.

Fagura, a crowdfunding platform from Moldova, has received the European Crowdfunding Service Provider license. It is the first crowdfunding platform from this country with the license. The National Financial Market Commission (CNPF) will regulate Fagura’s services.

Lithuanian agricultural investment platform HeavyFinance has entered into a partnership with the European Investment Fund (EIF). With this partnership, the platform has secured a portfolio guarantee of 10.5 million euros. This will help make funding more readily available to SME farms.

Debitum, a European peer-to-peer (P2P) lending and investment platform, has surpassed 100 million euros in total investments since its launch six years ago. An important milestone, especially for investors that only invest on platforms with a solid track record.

Atomico, a London-based venture capital firm, has raised 1.24 billion dollars (1.13 billion euros). It will use that to launch two new funds. By doing that, it wants to support startups in the European tech sector.

Estonian real estate investment platform Estateguru has financed a total of 815 million euros worth of loans. Last year, it invested 99 million euros in loans. The platform says that it will reach profitability by the end of this year.

Crowdfunding platform Seedrs has announced that it will start trading as Republic Europe. After tomorrow, the new branding will be used on the website and in emails. The new brand name is launching two years after Republic’s acquisition of Seedrs.

Latvian company Mintos is adding a new product to its lending platform. It has launched passive real estate investing. Users can now invest in property and earn an income from rent payments and potential property value appreciation.
