PeerBerry reaches milestone of 3 billion euros

Peer-to-peer investing platform PeerBerry has reached the milestone of a total of 3.02 billion euros in funded loans in April. It also has more than 100,000 users. Additionally, its net profit increased 32 percent year-on-year in 2024.
PeerBerry is a peer-to-peer (p2p) lending platform, which was founded in 2017. Together with loan originators, which are companies that provide loans to consumers or small businesses, it offers loans based in various countries.
42.87 million euros in interest to investors
Last week, the platform announced that in April, investors invested 27.93 million euros in loans. Thanks to this, the platform passed the milestone of 3 billion euros in total funded loans.

Last month, investors were paid 901,712 euros in interest. Since PeerBerry’s inception, investors have been paid 42.87 million euros in interest.
Over 1,600 new users
Additionally, at least 1,656 new investors joined the platform in April. As a result, PeerBerry now has more than 101,250 verified users. The company’s financial results for last year have also recently become available. According to the platform, it made a net profit of 579,135 euros in that year. This was an increase of 32 percent compared to 2023.
Upcoming plans
Most of the loans that are on the platform originate in Poland, Lithuania and Spain. The platform has recently joined with a South African loan originator. It already has plans for this month, as it wants to add a new originator from Poland.
