Dutch crowdfunding still valuable to SMEs in 2025
In 2025, crowdfunding platforms raised over 1.1 billion euros for SMEs in the Netherlands. This is comparable to the total value of the crowdfunding market in the country in 2024. Many Dutch real estate crowdfunding platforms have recently set up their own funds, where they have realized bigger volumes than in traditional crowdfunding.
These data come from a recently published article from Investeerders.nl. The same platform also published research about crowdfunding in the Netherlands in 2024. In that year, more than 1.137 billion euros was raised with corporate crowdfunding campaigns. This was a volume increase of almost 20 percent compared to 2023.
Crowdfunding platforms for businesses in the Netherlands:
| Platform | Volume |
| Mogelijk | 257,300,000 |
| Collin Crowdfund | 240,000,000 |
| NLInvesteert | 175,500,000 |
| Crowdrealestate | 100,000,000 |
| Geldvoorelkaar | 72,000,000 |
| Sameningeld | 65,600,000 |
| Waardevoorjegeld | 64,300,000 |
| Lendahand | 27,900,000 |
| KOM Group | 26,000,000 |
| Zonhub | 22,500,000 |
| Invesdor | 21,000,000* |
| Enerfip | 20,000,000* |
| Crowdaboutnow | 15,000,000* |
| Eyevestor | 14,500,000 |
| Horeca Crowdfunding | 12,000,000 |
| ZIB Investments | 10,300,000 |
According to the researchers, these figures have been collected in consultation with the platforms themselves, where possible. Some platforms did not share their results, and Investeerders.nl made an estimate (indicated by an asterisk). Due to their international nature, the likelihood of errors at Enerfip and Invesdor is quite high.
Growth with funds
With a total of more than 1.1 billion euros, crowdfunding in the Netherlands was, once again, important for SMEs in 2025. Real estate remains dominant, due to the higher volumes per campaign. Growth is particularly remarkable outside the top three: both Sameningeld and Waardevoorjegeld more than doubled in volume. And Crowdrealestate achieved the milestone of 100 million euros in a single year.
The latter is also planning to start its own fund. Geldvoorelkaar is currently realizing its first fund, and Waardevoorjegeld is also financing real estate in this way. Within the top three, the volume in funds appears to be increasing significantly, limiting growth in individual investments (ECSP).
This shows that crowdfunding platforms have grown more than indicated in the table above. For example, when including funds, Collin Crowdfund achieved 300 million euros in the Netherlands last year. And with their activities in Germany included, the company comes close to 400 million euros. Whether crowdfunding volumes will increase in the Netherlands this year therefore depends heavily on how platforms will continue developing.
Changes in the Dutch market
During 2025, Dutch crowdfunding platform DuurzaamInvesteren was acquired by the French company Enerfip. In Europe, the platform raised 180 million euros last year. It seems to be expected that the platform will grow significantly in the Netherlands this year. Lendahand, which focuses on social impact, is also showing growth in 2025, after undergoing a reorganization in 2024.
