Invesdor first platform in DACH region with ECSP license

Financing platform Invesdor has received the European Crowdfunding Service Provider license. It is the first platform in the DACH region to do so. The company wants to become a leading provider of crowdfunding services in Europe with this new license.

Invesdor was founded in 2012 and through several mergers, it has become a well-known financing platform in Europe. One of these mergers was with Austrian platform Finnest. This is why the Group was able to receive the license from the Austrian FMA.

According to Invesdor, it has over 124,000 active users who have invested more than 320 million euros in 515 funding rounds. Now, the company has received the new European license, with which it can continue providing its services in Europe. “The license means another milestone for the entire Invesdor Group to become the leading provider of crowdfunding services in Europe”, says Günther Lindenlaub, managing director of the Group.

Presence in European markets

According to the company, its presence in several European markets has helped to obtain the ECSP license. In November, the company acquired Dutch crowdfunding platform Oneplanetcrowd, which had already received the license in September.
